I intend to orphan the dbtoepub package as announed here:

The package is in use and requires some attention to fix the open bug reports.
The package description is: DocBook XML to .epub converter
dbtoepub is an alpha-quality reference implementation to convert DocBook
documents into the .epub format, an open standard for reflowable digital
