Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512
I intend to orphan xmlroff as announed here [1] and here [2]:
[1] https://lists.debian.org/debian-qa/2015/05/msg00075.html
[2] https://lists.debian.org/debian-qa/2015/08/msg00015.html
The package has an inactive upstream, several open bug reports and several
alternatives in place, which provide the same functionality. To me it looks
like it is half-done. Maybe it would be best to remove it. But if someone is
interested, there might be a chance to revive the package. Thus changing from
RFA to O.
The package description is: XSL formatter mainly for DocBook
xmlroff is a fast, free, high-quality, multi-platform XSL formatter
that aims to excel at DocBook formatting and that integrates easily
with other programs and with scripting languages.
